The Lewis Group philosophy is based upon the principles of globalization and free trade. Today Canada is the world's sixth most globalized country after Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Finland, and is ahead of the U.S.A.

   In India today there are almost five hundred million middle class heads of families. India is recognized as the world's largest single middle class group. India is also the world's largest democracy. Of these families three hundred million own all their assets. These families represent huge markets of individuals wishing to acquire western products, processes, insurance, and education.

   In China today twenty per-cent of the population is middle class, and in urban areas forty-seven per-cent is middle class.

   Other countries such as Nepal and Tibet record 30% of their population as middle class.

   All these middle class families can afford North American education, but only a fraction of them for numerous reasons can reach North America to take their studies.
